The sky was completely covered with clouds today and I didn't water the yard. I stuck my finger in the dirt to test it, and the soil was still slightly damp.


I have watered once almost every day so far since I started writing this garden log. With the exception of two days that were cloudy so I didn't need to water. As well as one day that was so hot that I had to sprinkle the yard with water twice.


This Garden log is already proving to be super fun! I really look forward to looking back on it this fall when I'm harvesting my home grown vegetables!

It's hot outside today! I had to do some yard work outside and I ended up getting super sweaty! The point is that it is officially hot outside! Yesterday was the first day of Spring, so it's funny that it already feels like summer weather outside.

Just like I remember from every year of my life, the weather drastically changed from too cold, to I'm dripping sweat all over the place! My goodness, there is no such thing as a happy medium I guess. Well, I will take the super hot weather then because I don't like to be cold! =)

Welcome! =)

Here in my garden log, I will update the world on the status of my gardens.

At this time I am living in a house that only allows me to have a small garden. I of course eventually hope to have much larger gardens that will be more appropriately titled "crops". For now I am happy to have any garden at all and I will definitely make the most out of the space that I have.

Here in Las Vegas most of the trees are blooming or showing signs of life. This was my first hint that the cold winter is over and spring is here. I decided it is time to plant my seeds outdoors and start what will grow into my vegetable and flower garden.
