I have wonderful news :
* I have 3 artichoke plants instead of 2!
* They are all 3 fruiting and I will be eating homegrown artichokes before the end of May!
I couldn't be happier. Everyday my garden brings me more and more happiness.
What a great garden... I wish mine was so green and fruitful! Until my green thumb blossoms, I'll live vicariously through your photos and shares : ).

You can grow plants just as good as me! Through trial and error I have finally found the key to keeping a healthy garden. The key (for my problem at least) is WATER! :) Apparently I was killing my plants by letting them dry out. Now I just water my yard like crazy. This may or may not be your problem as well. I would suggest giving it another try either way. Pick your favorite plant and grow it from seed. Make sure to keep the seeds warm and moist also shield them from any harsh elements. I guarantee that your plants will grow and if you keep watering and the plant never dries out then it will thrive and flourish! Once you eat homegrown food for a week it will change your life forever.
